Does the No No Laser Hair Removal system actually work?

I have dark hair and sensitive skin. My hair grows very fast. I can’t shave every day because it irritates my skin. The best thing to do would probably be professional laser hair removal, but it’s not in my budget right now. Does the No No work if I have this type of hair/skin?

Of the home lasers on the market, my understanding is the NoNo works the best. You have to commit to using it almost daily and when you stop using it regularly, the hair comes back. I basically just restricts the hair’s growth.

Why does laser hair removal cost so much?

I went for a consultation, they want about $100 per treatment, and it take 6 treatments to remove the hair on my upper lip.

Because it’s SO worth it, and people will pay.

I think $600 is extensive for the upper lip. I was quoted $600 for the whole pubic region…

It takes 5-6 treatments because hair grows in cycles. Not all of it grows at once.

You can go at any age as long as your parents come along with you to give consent.

My laser hair technician told me about 12 year olds coming in for the dark hair on their upper lip.

You have to be the age of majority in your area in order to go without your parents. most places over here give you free consulatations where you’ll be able to talk to someone about your wishes and they’ll even give you a ‘practice zap’ so you know what you are getting into before you go through with the whole cost.

Electrolysis. Have you had it? Does it work? etc?

I have phoned a local beauty salon to ask about having laser hair removal, but apparently electrolysis is better they have told me? I am a woman and have a really annoying problem with unwanted hair on my stomach kinda like what men get that trail thing. It is driving me mad to the point I am plucking so much and attacking the area that it is sore and scabby, it’s really affecting my confidence. I have been told it costs £9 for 15minutes treatment. I am going for a proper consultation at 5.30 today, then going to book in once the skin has healed up etc. Have you ever had electrolysis or know anyone that has had it before? How does it work? Is it permanent? Does it hurt?
